Description

Very strong, color-fast, lightly waxed to hold knots beautifully, and stiff enough to allow stringing without a needle, this string can enhance multiple-strand pieces and works nicely for stringing small-holed beads.

The European flax is thought by most weavers & book binders to be superior in that it is a more neutral PH.  Evidently flax from other areas of the world is higher in acidity, which is not desirable – especially to the book folks.
Irish Waxen Linen is available in 36 colors, 50 gram spools (approx. 100yds).
